Tooting Tots – Terms & Conditions
By booking or attending a Tooting Tots session, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility

Tooting Tots sessions are designed for children aged 1–5 years only.

Children outside of this age range may not be permitted to participate.
2. Supervision & Responsibility
-
All children must be supervised by a parent or responsible carer at all times during the session.
-
Tooting Tots does not provide childcare or individual supervision.
-
Parents/carers remain fully responsible for their child’s safety, behaviour, and wellbeing throughout the session.
3. Use of Equipment
-
All push-along cars, toys, and equipment must be used safely, appropriately, and as intended.
-
Running, reckless behaviour, or unsafe use of equipment is not permitted.
-
Any excessive misuse, deliberate damage, or behaviour deemed unsafe may result in removal from the session.

In such cases, no refund or credit will be issued.
4. Health & Safety

Participation in Tooting Tots sessions is entirely at your own risk.

Parents/carers must ensure their child is physically able to participate and is fit to take part.

Tooting Tots reserves the right to refuse entry or participation if a child’s behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
5. Liability

Tooting Tots accepts no responsibility for any injury, accident, or loss arising from participation, except where caused by proven negligence.

Tooting Tots is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to sessions.

All personal items are brought at the owner’s risk.
6. Cancellations by Customers

More than 24 hours’ notice before the session start time:
-
You are entitled to a full refund.

Within 24 hours of the session:
-
No refund will be issued, but you will receive a credit note for a future session.

Credit notes are non-transferable and must be used within the stated validity period (if applicable).
7. Cancellations or Changes by Tooting Tots

Tooting Tots reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to staff illness, venue issues, or safety concerns.

If this occurs, customers will be offered either:

A full refund, or
-
A credit note for a future session.

8. Behaviour
-
Tooting Tots aims to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all families.

Aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour by children or adults will not be tolerated.

Tooting Tots reserves the right to ask anyone to leave a session if behaviour is deemed inappropriate, with no refund.
9. Amendments
-
Tooting Tots may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always apply to bookings and attendance.
10. Acceptance

By booking and/or attending a Tooting Tots session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Party Hire Terms & Conditions
Kids Ride-On Toy Hire
By booking and hiring ride-on toys from Tooting Tots (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the Hirer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed once payment (or deposit, if agreed) has been received.
Full payment must be made seven days before the hire date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Hire Period
The hire period starts at the agreed delivery or collection time and ends at the agreed return or collection time.
Late returns may incur additional charges.
3. Delivery & Collection
Delivery and collection times will be agreed in advance.
The Hirer must ensure clear and safe access for delivery and collection.
Failed delivery or collection due to no access or no-show may result in additional charges.
4. Use of Equipment
All ride-on toys are for children only and must be used under adult supervision at all times.
Ride-on toys must be used on flat, level, dry surfaces and in a safe indoor or suitable outdoor environment.
Equipment must not be used on roads, pavements, slopes, steps, gravel, or uneven surfaces.
Food, drink, and sharp objects are not permitted on or near the equipment.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring toys are used in accordance with age and weight recommendations.
5. Supervision & Safety
The Hirer accepts full responsibility for supervising all children using the equipment.
We accept no liability for injury or damage resulting from misuse, lack of supervision, or failure to follow safety instructions.
Any faults or damage noticed during hire must be reported immediately.
6. Condition of Equipment
All equipment is provided clean, safe, and in good working order.
The Hirer must return all items in the same condition as received, excluding fair wear and tear.
The Hirer is responsible for loss, theft, or damage during the hire period.
7. Damage, Loss & Cleaning
The Hirer will be charged for:
Damage beyond normal wear and tear
Missing or stolen items
Excessive cleaning if items are returned dirty
Repair or replacement costs will be charged at full replacement value if items are damaged beyond repair.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the hire date may be charged the full hire amount.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel, a full refund will be issued.
9. Weather & Outdoor Use
Outdoor use is permitted.
Equipment must not be used in rain, strong winds, or wet conditions and must be returned in the same condition as provided.
10. Liability & Indemnity
The Hirer agrees to indemnify Tooting Tots against all claims, costs, damages, or expenses arising from use of the equipment during the hire period.
Our liability is limited to the total hire fee paid.
11. Photography & Social Media
We do not take photographs of children unless prior consent has been given.
Any images shared with us may be used for promotional purposes.
12. Refusal of Hire
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel hire if:
The equipment is being misused
Safety guidelines are not followed
The environment is deemed unsafe
No refund will be given in such circumstances.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking, the Hirer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
